Orange 1
Orange 1 manufacture a wide range of motors including single and two speed, single and 3-phase, with AC or DC brakes and they also produce a 'low-centre' motor that have been specially designed to provide the same power as the IEC standard series but with a lower shaft height. Orange 1 electric motors are produced in aluminium frames and cast-iron frames. The aluminium motors all have removable feet enabling the client to mount the terminal box in a position that best suits.
Rotomotive
Rotomotive motors are compact reduced frame motors that can be used in a wide range of applications. The motors are typically in one frame size lower than their standard duty providing high starting torque with low starting current. The motors are suitable for frequent starts/stops and reversals. Rotomotive motors are totally enclosed, and fan cooled. The frame sizes are made from light weight die cast aluminium alloy and the frame and end-covers are made from cast iron.
